Biography:

Elspeth Guild holds a Ph.D. in sociology of law from Radboud University Nijmegen 1999) and is the author of numerous books and articles on the development of the EU, particularly in the area of justice and home affairs and the creation of an area of freedom, security and justice.

She is also Professor of European Migration Law (Centre for Migration Law, Radboud University Nijmegen), Solicitor Kingsley Napley London and Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics.
