The EU is committed to moving away from the current linear economic model to a new model maximising the use of natural resources already in use. Our focus is on different aspects of this transition such as on market transformation, on resource efficiency indicators to monitor progress and on the implementation of circular business practices by EU industries and SMEs. We also explore synergies between different policy domains in order to highlight the cross-cutting nature of this topic, such as Energy Union, innovation, finance, employment and Digital Single Market.
